Nijel Amos has sent out a strong message ahead of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Championships London 2017 by winning the 800-metre Paris Diamond League race over the weekend.

The Botswana 800m sensation reached the finish line clocking his season’s best in a time of 1:44:24.

The 2012 Olympic Games silver medallist has been battling with injuries for some time now. Despite that, his faith has kept him going. The weekend’s performance was an indication that the 23-year-old is back to the form that made him a household name a few years ago. The resilience from the 800m sensation saw him being rated as one of the best by Kenyan runner, David Rudisha.
