Police happy about peaceful Mantshwabisi

JWANENG: The police have recorded minor incidents and accidents in the just ended Toyota 1,000km desert race which was held in Jwaneng over the weekend.

The director of traffic, Senior Assistant Commissioner, Katlholo Mosimanegape revealed in an interview that though the numbers of spectators had increased this year, they managed to control the crowd and few minor accidents and incidents were recorded.

Though at the time of the interview his office was still compiling statistics, he said no horrific accident and nasty criminal offences were reported, adding that they had strategies in place to control such.
