Suspected killer brothers denied bail

FRANCISTOWN: Two brothers from Matshelagabedi village who are charged with murdering their father were for the second time denied bail yesterday by the Magistrate.

The state alleges that Meshack James, 32, Kabelo James, 29, and Happy James, 27, who is a special constable at Matshelagabedi police, murdered Thomas James, 70, on April 20 at Kulenyane ward in Matshelagabedi.

However, Happy was given bail about two weeks ago when the trio appeared in court to hear how investigations in the matter were going.
