Speculation is already flying out with regard to some top players exchanging teams. However at the moment no official movement of players has been confirmed. National champions, Township Rollers are said to be amongst those that are expected to reshuffle their squad for next season. Rollers have already lost three players. Veteran defender, Mogogi Gabonamong has announced his retirement from football after spending the past two seasons with them. He was rejoining from South Africa where he spent several years playing for Cape Town Santos, Supersport United and Bloemfontein Celtic. Rollers have also parted ways with Senegalese striker, Pape Ndaw who returned to his country after his one-year deal elapsed. They also lost speedy winger, Gofaone Tiro whose untimely death shocked the football community. Rollers will be expected to fill the gap left by the trio with rumour already circulating that they are salivating over Zebras’ young defender, Thato Kebue who plays for rivals, Mochudi Centre Chiefs. However, Chiefs are expected to fight to keep the player who is seen as a future Zebras captain. Rollers are also said to be toying around the idea of pursuing the services of Jwaneng Galaxy stars, Thero Setsile and Thabang Sesinyi who are still contracted to their current club. Both Galaxy and Rollers will take part in next season’s CAF competitions.

Rollers crashed out of the CAF Champions League in the preliminary stages. However, the club is yet to appoint a coach after recently advertising the post. Teenage Mpote’s tenure as a caretaker coach elapsed at the end of the season and led them to a Premier League title. Galaxy will take part for the first time in the CAF Confederations Cup.
