More codes targeted for varsity leagues

The Private Tertiary Institution Association (PTIA) aims to increase the number of codes participating in varsity leagues. At the moment, institutions only compete in football and one day tournaments for all ball sports, but the aim to have leagues for the other codes as well.

Speaking during the PTIA top four tournaments launch on Tuesday, association president, Keorapetse Setlhare said their biggest dream going forward is to introduce other sporting codes that have facilities in schools. He said compared to government schools, tertiary institutions are not lucky with sporting facilities.
