The significance of Balete as the hosts of National Culture Day

Balete tribe celebrated their culture day at Ramotswa kgotla last year under the theme ‘bana ba kgwale ba bitsana ka molodi’ but this year Matebele a mantsho aga ma masodi-a mphela will host the National Culture day tomorrow at their tribal capital of Ramotswa. The tribes traditionally called the Bamalete who venerate the buffalo (nare) are not one of the tribes attributed to Sotho-Tswana but rather commoners of Nguni.
