GUS could make a comeback

Former cabinet minister Gaotlhaetse ‘GUS’ Matlhabaphiri and former director of communications and marketing for the Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency, (CEDA), Oabile Regoeng are some of the names reported to be positioning themselves for the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) primaries for Molepolole North constituency.

Molepolole North has been a stronghold of the BDP but the opposition especially Botswana National Front (BNF) became very strong with time as their numbers were increasing each year of elections.

According to a source, the BDP wants a strong and credible candidate who could win the area back to the party.
