Child molester denied bail

LOBATSE: Magistrate Onkarabile Mokone yesterday denied a Newlook ward man bail in a case in which he faces charges of sexually molesting a six-year-old minor.

The State alleges that Onkemetse Bagoreng, 24, forcefully had sexual intercourse with the minor near Woodhall 1 ward in Lobatse without her consent on May 3, 2017.

The offence is alleged to have been committed with violence. The accused was arrested on Monday at an abandoned house in Lobatse, five days after the incident.
