BFA Awaits Legal Advice On Mpiwa

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) will decide on the way forward after the Industrial Court ruled that the disciplinary hearing against suspended Botswana Premier League (BPL) finance manager, Bosenogile Mpiwa was unlawful.

Mpiwa dragged the BFA before the court challenging his suspension. He was suspended last December following a forensic audit that reportedly unearthed gross maladministration and financial irregularities. Mpiwa was then called for a disciplinary hearing, which the court says was unlawful based on the attitude of the chairman of the disciplinary committee.

BFA public relations officer, Tumo Mpatane said they are yet to decide on disciplinary action against Mpiwa as they await advice from their legal representatives.
