Police IX are once again winners of the women's softball league

Usual suspects, Police IX women and BDF IX army men are the champions of the 2016/2017 Botswana Fibre Network Softball League. Both Police IX women and BDF IX men walked out of the National Diamond P100,000 richer over the weekend.

After losing the championship to Wells International last season, the BDF men bounced back this season and proved their dominance in the local softball by snatching the BoFiNet league title under the noses of Police IX.

The army men had previously lost 3-2 to Police, but recovered with a 5-2 win against Wells in the semi finals to book a final against Police.
