FRANCISTOWN: A ‘back-door’ attempt by the Vice President Mokgweetsi Masisi’s faction to turn the tables on the recent Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) Francistown region elective congress has been reportedly aborted.

President Ian Khama recently appointed a task team led by former Cabinet minister Gaotlhaetse GUS Matlhabaphiri to investigate reports pertaining to the conduct of the party’s regional elective congress.
