Rollers on course to defend title

Defending champions, Township Rollers, have overcome pre-season internal feuds to emerge as the favourites to retain the be MOBILE Premier League title.

Like any other team that wins the championship, Rollers were rocked by internal conflicts, which largely hinged on bonuses. Despite denials from the management, it was apparent that all was not well at Rollers, with players threatening to boycott their league opener against Black Peril.

Although the team lost several key men from the championship-winning side, including coach Rahman Gumbo, Itayi Gwandu (both to Mochudi Centre Chiefs), Edwin Moalosi (USA) and Aubrey Kebonnetse (USA), Rollers have proved unbeatable.
