Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) chief executive officer, Tuelo Serufho has denied reports that they are not taking care of Baboloki Thebe who is carrying a niggling injury.

Serufho was reacting to a complaint raised by Thebe in an interview with Mmegi Sport. Thebe had said the BNOC was not assisting him with his injury and related costs.

However, Serufho in an interview yesterday insisted BNOC is taking good care of the athlete. He said upon Thebe’s arrival from the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, BNOC facilitated his trip to Italy for rehabilitation together with Nijel Amos. He said when the athlete returned from Italy, results showed that the injury had healed.
