For only the second time, descendants of Ovaherero and Ovambanderu who fled a genocide in colonial Namibia into Botswana more than 100 years ago, are preparing to return to their motherland. Staff Writer, MBONGENI MGUNI reports on the second exodus of a troubled people

These frightful words were spoken in full colonial arrogance by Lieutenant-General Lothar von Trotha, a German military leader appointed ‘supreme commander’ of South West Africa at the height of the European power’s dominion over the region.
