PALAPYE: The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP)’s primary elections loser in the Boikago/Madiba by- election, Thabo Dimeku says nothing will stop him from standing again in the 2019 general elections as he has a duty to control the damage done.

In an interview with Mmegi, Dimeku pointed fingers at fellow party members saying they failed him intentionally so that there could be primary elections for the 2019 general elections. Dimeku lost the by-election to the Botswana Congress Party (BCP)’s Area Gabathusi with a margin of 103 last weekend.

The 34-year-old Dimeku revealed that his own friend, Boitshoko Kinnear whom he defeated at primary elections, sabotaged him. He comes a long way with Kinnear as they even worked together in 2013 when they led the late Richie Kenosi’s campaign in the party’s primary elections.
