Kanye man drowns in Peleng Dam

LOBATSE: The police have cautioned members of the public against fishing and swimming in the Peleng dam, after a 27-year-old man from Kanye drowned recently.

Station commander, superintendent Photshanyana Mogatsaseno said the incident happened on January 19 when the deceased allegedly went swimming.Mogatsaseno said investigations are still ongoing.

“We are investigating a case where a man aged between 26 and 27 drowned in the Peleng dam. We received a report on January 19 evening, went there and confirmed the incident.
