Desperate Satmos turn to constituency players

FRANCISTOWN: Troubled FC Satmos have been forced to turn to constituency tournament players after some key squad members deserted. Coach, Kgosietsile Jacob said close to 20 players have gone AWOL and only five have reported back for training after the Christmas break.

He said he does not know the whereabouts of the rest of the players. He said the only player who has officially left the team is their talisman, Katlego Mpoeleng who has joined Morupule Wanderers.

“I am in the dark as to what is happening,” he said. “I have been showing up at the ground every day since January 9, which is the date we agreed to resume our preparations and only five players showed up and I don’t know about the rest.”
