Naisi Boy to release spiced kwaito album

Despite some perceptions that kwaito music is dying in popularity, upcoming local musicians seem geared up to revive the genre, which originates from neighbouring South Africa.

A young man who goes by the name Naisi Boy is adamant that his personalised Kwaito style, which he terms ‘Dramatic Kwaito’ is guaranteed to be a winner with music lovers across board. Born Lesegolamodimo Motlhagodi, he said he has taken a lot of time and put a lot of thought into his music, all because he wanted to come up with a good product.

“I started doing music when I was in secondary school, but at the time I didn’t really have a plan,” he said.
