Trump won�t recall Miller

With reports that USA President Barack Obama would not be the only one clearing his desk in the lead-up to inauguration day on January 20, the ambassador to Botswana is expected to continue serving in his position.

According to media reports, around 50 politically appointed ambassadors would be following suit, Kirk Wagar, the outgoing USA ambassador to Singapore, told CNBC on Wednesday, himself included.

“There is a misunderstanding that every single US ambassador will be ejected when president-elect Donald Trump takes office on January 20 but only those personally chosen by Obama himself are leaving,” Wagar was quoted.
