Herdsman rapes four-year old

PALAPYE: Letlhakane police have detained a 19-year-old herdsman accused of raping a four-year-old girl on Christmas Eve at Tsutsuga cattlepost. The accused is a herdsman based at the cattlepost of the victim’s family.

According to station commander, Superintendent Michael Maphephu the accused was left to care for the victim and her sibling while the mother went to run some errands in town.

Maphephu said the herdsman summoned the children into the house and chased away one sibling before abusing the little girl.
