Mosa crowned Miss Razi

Mosa Balesang was crowned Miss Ramotswa recently during a ceremony held at Tashy’s Royal Gardens. Mosa, a fourth year student at Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources paraded in an intricate silky black and gold gown.

During the question and answer session the 22-year-old talked about issues of trade in the country and how diamonds and beef have been the biggest trade sustaining the economy. She explained that during these transactions foreign exchange and economic diversification is brought forth and employment is also generated.

“I love animals very much and pageantry obviously. I want to be the first ever pageant titleholder with a veterinary medicine qualification,” she said. She confessed that from a very young age, she knew she was destined to be above average in everything that she does. “I am confident and self-confessed farmer in the making. I see myself feeding Botswana in the near future,” she concluded.
