MC Maswe dominates Northern Awards

FRANCISTOWN: Renowned Mosakaso singer Thapelo Maleka who is popularly known by the sobriquet ‘Mc Maswe’ capped his eventful year by clinching four awards at the recently held Northern Arts Awards (NAA).

Maswe has experienced a spectacular rise to stardom in the last two years and enjoyed a stellar year having won the best Mosakaso album at the annual Botswana Music Union (BOMU) awards held last month.

On Saturday the Mosakaso pioneer walked away with all the awards he was nominated for at the second edition of the NAA. The Francistown based musician was voted the best employer, best MC and Best Mosakaso artist.
