BVF requests to be part of 2018 AUSC

Botswana Volleyball Federation (BVF) president, Daniel Molaodi has pleaded with the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development (MYESCD) to be included in the 2018 African Union Sports Council (AUSC) games to be held in Botswana.

This follows the Botswana National Sport Commission’s (BNSC) recent announcement that Botswana will host the AUSC games, which are held every two years from the local Botswana Games.

“As a member country in the region we will be hosting the AUSC Region 5 Games in the year 2018. We continue to do this as a test for our readiness to host major games in the future,” stated BNSC chairman, Solly Reikeletseng.
