FRANCISTOWN: Gobuamang Ntsuape, the man facing multiple charges of murder and arson, has had to be evacuated to another prison for his own safety after death threats from fellow prisoners who blame him for the death of their friend in a recent vehicle accident.

At the time of the accident, Ntsuape, 30, of Ramotswa was facing four counts of threat to kill, one count of murder and two counts of arson. He allegedly committed the offence because he could not fathom the fact that his former girlfriend, Dorcas Kgosietsile, had decided to end their love relationship.

Last Thursday afternoon, Ntsuape allegedly wrestled for the steering wheel of a Quantum van he was traveling in, in the company of four police officers and six other prisoners, enroute to the Francistown Centre for Illegal Immigrants (FCII).
