Glody Dube has resigned as vice president of Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) after handing his resignation letter to the association’s secretary general on Monday.

He joined BAA executive committee in 2008 as an additional member. He was then selected as the public relations officer and rose through the ranks to the position of vice president. Dube is a retired middle distance runner who specialised in 800 metres.

He told Mmegi Sport yesterday that his resignation is effective immediately and that it took a lot of guts to quit BAA.
