Man accused of raping five-year old

The accused, Mbonisi Mpofu, who is an illegal immigrant, is alleged to have raped the child while she was playing with others at the house he is staying at.

Superintendent Motsholathebe Mothibi told The Monitor that the rape occurred while the child's parents were away.
"The child's parents, who are neighbours of the accused person were away, but within Tatisiding. They had left the child playing with others at the neighbours house," he said.
