Kgosi Bonewamang Memorial Primary School in Molepolole walked away with the P15,000 prize money after scooping the Parmalat’s Bonnita Long Life Milk (BLLM) pack collection competition on Thursday.

The school beat 100 local primary schools to the top prize after collecting 34 992 boxes.  During an interview with a representative of the school, who is also a teacher, Vinoliah Letlole, the competition promoted cooperation between the parents and their children. She added that it also became an advantage to Parmalat Company because after learning about the competition, parents were motivated to buy more milk and other Parmalat products.

“As a school we were also determined to win the first prize and so we held a competition where our children would win either pens or pencils depending on the number of empty Bonnita boxes they bring. That worked as many children were motivated to bring more boxes so that they could win those prizes,” she added. She also pointed out that with the prize money, they asked Parmalat group to buy them cleaning materials and items such as electric kettles, irons, pans and others so that they could give them to their pupils during the prize giving ceremony which was aimed to motivate them to work harder in their academics.

Each of the 10 beautiful young women had supporters...
