Botho University hosts Bokgeleke Arts and Cultural festival

In their quest to promote culture more especially amongst the youth, Botho University will host and cultural event that will be spiced up with cultural performances on Friday.

In an interview with Showbiz, the event coordinator Bonny Moapare said the event dubbed, ‘Bokgeleke Arts and Cultural Festival’ will be one of its kind. She added that the event will kick start with the taste of different traditional dishes such as dikgobe, bogobe jwa lerotse, kabu, serobe, seswaa, samp and many others.  Before and during lunch, the revelers will have an opportunity to play and learn various traditional games such as koi, mmele, diketo, dithini and others. Moapare said afterwards, there will be different traditional dance performances in the hall where different youth groups will be competing.
