AYAADA organises pageant with few restrictions

A non-profit making organisation, Association of Youth Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (AYAADA) will be hosting a beauty pageant with few restrictions at President Hotel on November 16, 2016.

According to one of the event coordinators Elizabeth Molemogi the queen would become their ambassador who will be teaching secondary school students about the impact of drug and alcohol abuse. She said they are looking for young women between 18 and 26- years.

Miss AYAADA pageant will be one of its kind, as there will be no height and weight restrictions. Young mothers are also allowed to partake in our pageant as long as they are of the stipulated age. “Our pageant will also not discriminate anyone as people leaving with disabilities are also welcome to battle for the crown,” she said.
