Masisi made the remarks when officiating at the party’s dinner in Maun West. Earlier on, he addressed a political rally, before flying to Seronga to attend a victory celebration.
He said: “you must pledge to BDP financially so it can grow to take care of your businesses. BDP will look after your money. We are not thieves”. Masisi further assured the gathering that BDP remains committed to serving the business community to ensure the sector thrives. “We have a reputation regionally and internationally for being a peaceful nation where business easily grows,” he said.
