BLLAHWU threatens to sue govt

Botswana Land Boards, Local Authorities and Health Workers Union (BLLAHWU) has threatened the Directorate of Public Service Management (DPSM) with legal suit should it continue refusing to effect burial cover for its members.

The union has written to DPSM requesting them through an ultimatum to honour its obligation and adhere to an agreement between the two parties regarding burial cover for its members.

Nonetheless the union’s burial society continues to fight for its members that are said to be without cover since DPSM allegedly failed and neglected complying and cooperating.
