The small dusty village of Rakhuna was on Saturday brought to life by the masses who came to celebrate political victory of Barolong Kgosi Lotlamoreng II as the area MP. Rakhuna is a tiny village 10 kilometres from Pitsane towards the Ramatlabama border.

The celebrations started off with a gala dinner a day before at Lotlamoreng I Junior Secondary School in Goodhope. On the morrow, a motorcade proceeded across some of the villages in the sparse constituency before the villagers, including little ones ,gathered for lunch.

Lotlamoreng’s family members came en-masse, including his mother, sister, aunt, other close relatives and friends. Presidents of other partner parties under the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) were present except for Duma Boko who was said to be unwell.
