BDP Museum Launch On September 15

FRANCISTOWN: The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) is to launch its temporary museum on September 15. This follows the ruling party announcement in June to launch a museum to showcase its history as a way of celebrating Botswana’s 50-years of independence, which will be September 30.

Shashe West Member of Parliament (MP) Fidelis Molao who heads a committee tasked with coordinating the launch of the museum said the temporary facility would be launched on September 15, with exhibitions of the party’s milestones on display.

“It will not be a typical museum, which is usually a permanent structure. The exhibition will last until the 25th or the 26th of September,” Molao said.
