The Botswana Karate Association (BOKA) is still to implement resolutions, which include the appointment of Re Ba Bona Ha and School of Excellence interim committee, taken during the ordinary general meeting held in May.

During the meeting, delegates also discussed the minimum entry into the technical commission. BOKA public relations officer, Jerry Ditlhong told Mmegi Sport that the association is yet to implement the resolutions. He said they are waiting for BOKA president, David Mathe to deliver a report on the progress made thus far.

Ditlhong said the association recently held a retreat in Mahalapye. “We went there to discuss our strategy, public relations plan and BOKA constitution. The retreat was attended by delegates and we were not targeting chief instructors only,” he said. Ditlhong said the absence of chief instructors at the retreat was not a challenge. He said they have completed the BOKA strategic plan and they are left with a few items to complete the review of the constitution.
