G4S Botswana’s Profits Soar To P18.3million

Revenue growth at the security behemoth, G4s reached P108,086 million, up five percent from the same time in 2015, the company announced at their half-year results announcement Friday.

Driven by contract renewals and new contract wins that accounted for P24.9million and P9.9million respectively, G4s Botswana announced 8.5% rise in profit from operations in their half-year results.

In their revenue growth for this year G4s indicates that the cleaning services grew by about 20%, but it was electronic security, cash solution and manned security that contributed the bulk of their returns; electronic security contributed P32,429 million while manned security (P33, 079 million) and Cash Solutions (P31,375 million) proved to be the big earners for the corporation.

of profit before tax however P6.72 million was realised from Electronic Security Services, while P3.09 million was realised from manned security, and P9.293 million from Cash solutions, with facilities management and cleaning services contributing P299,000, and P455,000 respectively.

The company also announced they are making inroads and strong partnerships in retails cash solutions, where they have 11 customers.

Profits after tax are up 6.4% to P15.5 million, as the security giant declared interim dividends of P9.1m to shareholders at P11.36 thebe per share, also up 4.5%.
