Out of contract players leave for SA

Botswana’s out of contract football players will have an opportunity to impress foreign scouts when they take part in a tournament in South Africa this weekend. The tournament is organised by FIFPro, a representative organisation for professional football players and will take place from today until Saturday in Johannesburg.

Footballers Union Botswana (FUB), as a member of FIFPro, has put together a team of 16 players who will represent Botswana at the event.

Besides Botswana, the tournament will feature Zimbabwe, South Africa and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Botswana will play Zimbabwe with the winner progressing to the final.
