The African Union Vision of “An integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa, driven by its own citizens and representing a dynamic force in the international arena” is one that is very much within reach in championing a sustainable future for Africa, unlocking her every potential.

In January 2015, the African Union Assembly adopted Agenda 2063, which is firmly grounded upon this Vision.

Agenda 2063 is, at its core, a bold, well thought out long-term vision and strategic framework for Africa’s growth, development and progressive integration. It took into account and incorporated past and existing continental initiatives for growth and sustainable development.
