The worlds favourite fish

It seems fish has replaced popcorn as the delight of cinema. Dory, a wide-eyed blue tang fish, is the bundle of joy that gets movie enthusiasts crazed and longing for more.

It is currently the world’s favourite as it is sitting pretty at the top of box office. Well, the name of this new experience is Finding Dory and it will make you remember the 2003 animation blockbuster Finding Nemo. Thumbs up to you then because you will not have a hard time following Finding Dory as it is the sequel to that movie. This new experience is a 2016 3D computer-animated comedy adventure also crafted by the same director from the predecessor film, that being Andrew Stanton.  This time around Amnesia or memory loss is the focal point and catalyst of all fun. Finding Dory lets all loose as “the big screen’s favourite forgetful blue tang Dory (voice of Ellen DeGeneres), who is living happily in the reef with Marlin (voice of Albert Brooks) and Nemo (voice of Hayden Rolence). When Dory suddenly remembers that she has a family out there who may be looking for her, the trio takes off on a life-changing adventure across the ocean to California’s prestigious Marine Life Institute (MLI), a rehabilitation centre and aquarium. In an effort to find her mom (voice of Diane Keaton) and dad (voice of Eugene Levy), Dory enlists the help of three of the MLI’s most intriguing residents: Hank (voice of Ed O’Neill), a cantankerous octopus who frequently gives employees the slip; Bailey (voice of Ty Burrell), a beluga whale who is convinced his biological sonar skills are on the fritz and Destiny (voice of Kaitlin Olson), a near-sighted whale shark. Deftly navigating the complex inner workings of the MLI, Dory and her friends discover the magic within their flaws, friendships and family. Some characters from Finding Nemo like Ellen DeGeneres (Dory voice), Albert Brooks (Marlin voice) have reprised their roles maintaining consistency in the film. Whilst on the other hand the cast has also added new reinforcements like Ed O’Neill

(Octopus Hank voice) among others just to name a few.
