Government’s late filing of papers in the battle with the Botswana Federation of Public Sector Unions (BOFEPUSU) over a three percent increment to civil servants, yesterday led to Justice Harold Ruhukya postponing the matter to Friday.

Government had been ordered to show cause why an order given two weeks ago in favour of BOFEPUSU freezing the increment, should not be made final.

Ruhukya, who said he was unimpressed with government’s conduct, postponed the case to allow BOFEPUSU an opportunity to respond to government papers.
