Wells, Police IX Are BoFiNet Softball Champions :: Mmegi Online

It was sweet revenge for Wells International as they won the 2015/16 BoFiNet men’s softball league championship over the weekend. Wells hammered their long time rivals, BDF IX with a 5-3 score line in a nerve-breaking final played at the National Diamond on Saturday evening. Wells walked away P100,000 richer.

Wells started the match showing intention to walk away with the grand prize. The side was the first to bat and the BDF pitcher was Kagiso Mogale.

The player is well known for fast, strong balls. He did not waste time as he sent off Wells batters with straight strikes. The inning ended with Wells failing to score. BDF IX’s Obusitswe Lekgothu was first on the bat and his first swing was a miss and it did not take long for him to walk out after straight strikes from Kealeboga Tsienyane. BDF IX also failed to score. The inning ended 0-0.
