A near stampede occured yesterday on Mogoditshane as people jostled to gain access to a garage

The last two days saw a near-stampede at a second-hand car dealership in Mogoditshane as tens of potential car owners thronged one garage in a bid to purchase vehicles going at giveaway prices. Reason for the major drop in prices was that the owners were allegedly facing deportation because of suspected criminal activities.

Sources within the intelligence community told Mmegi that the owners were selling the vehicles at low prices because “they had to get rid of everything. They knew we were coming for them”.

The Mmegi team arrived at the scene at 10am and there was chaos at the entrance of the garage. Those outside the garage were screaming to be let inside.
