FRANCISTOWN: A Botswana Police Service (BPS) sergeant is suing the Police Commissioner, his boss, for P1.3 million citing malicious prosecution. The applicant, Petros Lesole, who is based at Sehithwa Police Camp, was fired from the police service for allegedly receiving stolen property in 2012.

However, he successfully argued his case before the police disciplinary board and magistrate court.

Lesole had been charged with buying a stolen rope from two men at Sehithwa police camp on October 12, 2012.
