Head of sport at the University of Gloucestershire in England, Dr Amita Navin has urged local netball coaches to focus on the critical tactics needed to win a match.

Navin was in Botswana this week on the International Netball Federation’s (INF) assignment to mentor netball coaches.

She told Mmegi Sport that her role in the INF is to develop coaches in Africa. She revealed that this was her third visit to Botswana after earlier visits in 2010 and 2012.  She also works with coaches in Ethiopia, Malawi and Tanzania.
