SPEDU avails land for entrepreneurs

SELEBI-PHIKWE: SPEDU has availed 74 light industrial plots to be allocated to local entrepreneurs as part of efforts to boost the development of the town.

The plots, which were owned by the Selebi- Phikwe Town Council (SPTC), were last August handed over to SPEDU to spur the economic diversification of the region. SPEDU CEO, Mokubung Mokubung said they have 74 light industrial plots that are currently advertised for buying by local entrepreneurs that will be allocated in April 2016.

Mokubung said all sectors of the economy including mechanics, welding, transport services and agriculture are eligible to apply for the plots as they are not limited to any business sector.
