Moswaane throws Parly into confusion

Parliament was adjourned on Friday just after 50 minutes following postponement of motions by Botswana Democratic Party’s (BDP) Francistown West legislator, Ignatius Moswaane.

This provoked many in Parliament, as some members complained that Moswaane was not taking Parliament business seriously as he was filing motions but not prepared to debate them.

“We take time to plan for these motions.  It is embarrassing that a member can come and say a later date on three motions.
