Lesotho Tops SADC Double Troika Summit

The political and security situation in Lesotho will be the focus of the Southern African Development (SADC) Double Troika Summit in Gaborone today.

This is according to the director, Multilateral Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Benetia Chingapane. The SADC Double Troika is made up of Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Tanzania and Swaziland and its summit is taking place at the Gaborone International Convention Centre.

Chingapane said the Double Troika Summit, which would be chaired by President Ian Khama, would review the political and security situation in Southern Africa, with focus on the situation in Lesotho.
