Tiroyamodimo resurfaces at DWNP

Former deputy commander of Botswana Defence Force (BDF), Major General Otisitswe Tiroyamodimo has been appointed the Director of the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (DWNP). His appointment is effective December 1, 2015.

A statement from the Ministry of Environment, Wildlife and Tourism says, it “would like to inform the public and all its stakeholders that as of December 1, 2015, Major General Otisitswe B. Tiroyamodimo is the new Director of the Department of Wildlife and National Parks”.

The DWNP is tasked with the responsibility of conserving and managing the country’s fish and wildlife resources and their habitats in consultation with local, regional and international stakeholders for the benefit of present and future generations.
