Sefalana accused robber denies link with crime

PALAPYE: An accused person in the Sefalana robbey, Kabelo Suping, has distanced himself from the crime that he is alleged to have committed jointly with Gofaone Modukanele on October 3, 2012 in Palapye.

However, Chief Magistrate Rebecca Motsamai said that the accused has a case to answer.

”I know nothing about the Sefalana robbery because on the said date I was hospitalised in Gaborone after I was injured by some people at a Gabane club the previous night. I can even produce cards to prove to you that I was not in Palapye the day Sefalana was robbed.”
