President Ian Khama has appointed three High Court judges to replace four suspended judges. On November 20, 2015 the Registrar and Master of High Court, Michael Motlhabi released a memo to all Justices of Appeal, High Court, Registrars, Magistrates, managers and members of staff informing them about the appointments.

Motlhabi informed them that Khama, acting in accordance with the advice of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), has appointed Bashi Moesi as the substantive High Court judge effective from January 1, 2015. Khama also appointed little known Boipuso Tshweneyagae and Jennifer Dube as acting judges of the High Court.

The appointment of the trio follows the hiring of acting Justice Godfrey Radijeng on September 11, 2015. All these appointments came after Khama suspended four judges in August 2015. The judges are Key Dingake, Modiri Letsididi, Mercy Garekwe and Ranier Busang, for alleged misconduct.
