This film is a 2015 book adaptation of an American Sci-Fi war film based on the multimillion dollar selling Hunger Games trilogy, authored by Suzanne Collins. It concludes the adventures that began in 2012 with The Hunger Games, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire the following year and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 last year. This epic global blockbuster of The Hunger Games arrives at its powerful ending of the battle between good and evil through which Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) now fully realises. The stakes are no longer just for survival, they are for the future. With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss Everdeen confronts villain capitol President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in this final showdown with District 13 President Alma Coin (Julianne Moore) also with intentions of her own.
Accompanied by a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), Katniss goes off mission using the unit from District 13 risking their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who is increasingly obsessed with destroying her. However, the mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.
